You have some seasoned or older apples which are still sweet and edible, but you do not want to eat them pure because they already became a little floury?
Then you can put them in a pot and cook apple puree. Just peel them, cut them as little as possible and put them in a pot adding just a little bit of water or apple juice. Cook them until they become decomposed and then add cinnamon, sugar and lemonjuice depending on your taste. Of course if you want to have it really smooth you can puree it.

Totally did this last night and made myself a little Apple Crumble. High five for doing stuff with old fruit!
