Some days ago I got the idea to write some posts about places and locations to see in Berlin. The first I want to write about is the “Solar Berlin”. It is a bar and restaurant spread over two floors. The restaurant is in the 16th floor and the bar and lounge in the 17th. You do not have to pay for entrance, but you have to plan about 10 € for a cocktail. For Berlin prices this is not really cheap, but the view you have over the city is really extra-ordinary! For the smokers there is also a smoking area with some places to relax which have the same beautiful view over the city like the “normal” area. Yeah, this bar is really amazing because of its wonderful and special view about Berlin.
Unfortunately prices are more cheap than in other bars and when I was there at nine o’clock there have not been many places to sit. But all in all a trip to this bar pays off 😉
